Good - bye ESO !!:)

Four years ago, we began first of ESO and now, we're 16 years. During these years, I have been a lot of beatiful moments around all my new friends. I have learnt, I have smiled and I have cried and  in particular, I don't regret anything.

My best moments have been in fourth of ESO, because we went to Italy a week, we did the playback and a lot of special things that I will never FORGET. 

Next year, I'm going to do first of Batxillerat with some of my friends. Probably, I will never see again the rest of my class group, but in my memories  they always will be. I hope to keep contact and start first of Batxillerat very well.

Well… we’re on a tour group and here in Figueres we are visiting the Museum of Salvador Dalí..

Yes yes.

How long will you stay here?
Here in Figueres, one day but around Catalonia five days.

What do you think of the city?

Well.. Figueres very nice but we didn’t have the opportunity to see the city, we have just arrived. We see the museum and we’re living.

What have you visit in Figueres/Catalonia?

In Figueres nothing, but we visited Barcelona  LLoret de Mar.

What are tou going to visit here?

Just the museum

Is it very expensive stay in Catalonia?

No.

Do you like the Mediterranean food?

Of course!

Can you speak Spanish or catalan?

The song “Seasons of love” was written in September of 1996 for  Jonathan Larson.

·         Who sang it first?

Jonathan Larson.

·         Was it a big hit?

No, it wasn’t.  Seasons of love is a song of the musical of Rent and in Brodway had some expecutation, but out of the theater no. However, everybody knowns this song actualy.

·         Any other interesting info? (records, interviews, photos, facebook page,...).

The song is associated with World AIDS Day and AIDS awareness, because four of the lead characters of Rent have AIDS. Seasons of love has been translated into multiple languges for the international productions of the musical.

2. What is the meaning of this song? Write the translation of the lyrics. In 20 words, what is the song about?

·       "Seasons of Love" is a song from the Broadway musical Rent, written and composed by Jonathan Larson. Both in the musical and in the 2005 film, the song is performed by the entire cast. The main question asked is, "How do you measure a year?" Various answers are suggested, from points of the day ("Daylights," "Sunsets," "Midnights,") to units of measure ("inches", "miles"), to everyday events ("cups of coffee") to more symbolic concepts ("laughter", "strife"). In the chorus, the song reaches the conclusion that love is the only proper measure of a year in a human life. In the stage production, the song is sung at the opening of the second act. The cast stands downstage in a straight line facing the audience.

St Valentine's day - ROMEO & JULIET

1- Romeo and Juliet is a love story between a girl and a boy whose families are enemies. They died because their families didn’t want that they stayed as a couple. At the end, they died for love.

4- William Shakespeare.

5- Between 1591 and 1595.

6- Tragical History of Romeus and Juliet by Arthur Brook in 1562.

7- Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy because the two main characters died in the end.

8- Maybe if the couple are very in love but, we think that it’s a bit impossible.

My 2011 resolutions

New Year's Aurora

On 7 January, the first big display of northern lights took place in Norway, near Tromso.  This aurora continued into the second week of the year. These auroras were rooted in strong gusts of solar wind. Auroras are created when such carged particles flow along Earth's magnetic field lines. The particles hit the atmosphere at the Poles and excite air molecules which release the extra energy as light.

This news attracts me a lot because the Auroras are very striking natural phenomena that only happen in a single place in the world, that few people have seen. This in  particular is the first and  the biggest Aurora in 2011.

The animal in me!!!

THE POLAR BEAR

The polar bear is a solitary animal, who lives alone or with his family. He always  protects his belongings, like his son, his food and his burrow.  

The polar bear sleeps a lot, because he can't do anything for the weather because in the Artic Circle always snows and almost it's always night, too. 
He loves swimming in the cold weather and jumping for all the icebergs. He normaly eats  fish but sometimes he eats meat (only when he hunts). 

He has got an important characteristic and with that, I feel more idetifieded.

- When he wants to do something, he always tries  to do it, and if he doesn't get it, he tries it again and again. 

This is the animal in me, the polar bear. It is only an animal wich does his objectives, with either more or less time!!!

Summer 2010 is over !!

This summer was so fun and overcoat very short !!!

In July, I went in an English summer camp in Castellar de N'hug for a 10 days with my frined Eva.

We spoke all the days in english as the counsuleurs were Americans or British and we did a lot of activities like: ruggby, football, horse riding, traking,... it was so funny!! On 4th of July we celebreted the American idependence day and we did a parade for all the camp. We ate an American food!! It was a fantastic experencie and I hope to repeat it. 

In August, I went to the beach every day with my mother and my neighbors, an one day I went shopping in Barcelona. This was the most boring August of  my life!!!
